Salsa 1 Group Class
“When can I join this class?“
Students should join this class at the beginning of the calendar month as each week they will progress building off the last class. We have Salsa 1 classes on fridays at 8:30pm. Class curriculum will alternate each month between 1A and 1B. We suggest picking one class and sticking with it for the entire month to help with consistency.
“How long will I be in Salsa 1 before I can move up?”
This depends solely on the student but most can expect to stay in level one for at least 4 months (each class twice). For those eager to move quicker through the process we offer private instruction with any of our instructors to help trouble shoot and give you a more customized learning experience.
“Do I have to have a partner to join?”
No not at all! Everyone in the class will rotate through partners, dancing with everyone several times.
“I can’t come every week will that be a problem?”
While we do suggest consistent weekly attendance as it is the best way to learn, you may drop in whenever you are able to. Just know that it will take much longer to master the dance this way. Some of our other classes such as Intro Salsa on Fridays and Club Salsa on Saturdays are great options for those wanting a more relaxed beginning class.
“How much does it cost to join?”
