How do you join? Contact us at The Granada LA by emailing our studio manager at [email protected] or front desk staff at [email protected] and we will give you more information regarding joining of the teams

Benefits? Being part any of our Performance teams you will learn choreographed dances that you will perform as a group at Showcases, Local Events & Congresses depending on levels of team and commitments. You will focus on technique, body action & styling to enhance your dancing and ability to develop yourself to a higher level. Team members receive perks from The Granada for for VIP entrance to the club entire month, Included & discounted classes/workshops.

FAQ (Frequently asked questions)

Q. What if I want to be on two teams?
A. You can! The price drops to $120 per team.

Q. What should I bring/wear?
A. Workout type clothing, sneakers, proper dance shoes, water, personal towel.

Q. When are the team fees due?
A. First of the month or before first rehearsal of the month. (cannot do first rehearsal without payment)

Q. Where would we perform?
A. At The Granada LA Showcases, Club nights, special events, dance festivals, as well as invitational Congress events, and other community events.

Q. Do I have to perform?
A. Not required but recommended. You are joining a performance team so you will be expected to perform with the team unless personal conflicts or circumstances prohibit. Please make sure to inform Directors if you have restrictions with being able to perform with team.

Q. Can I try the team first before committing?
A. New members may try out the team for $20 per session. If interested, that fee will go towards their first monthly fee.

Q. Do I need to check in everytime I go to weekly rehearsals & taking advantage of perks?
A. Yes! There's a sign in sheet at the front desk where you sign in for team rehearsals, group classes, and private lessons.

Q. Besides the monthly dues, are there any other expenses I should be aware of?
A. There will be additional expenses incurred when the team performs and travels, including but not limited to: costuming, travel expenses, performance

Q. What type of Latin dances are taught in training rehearsals?
A. The bases we use are mostly Salsa and Bachata. We also train in Cha Cha Cha, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and much more! Depending on type of team will be more specific to those dances
